Joy Heatherly Kirk (She/They) is an actress, writer, and director based in the Midwest currently in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of The Arts BFA Acting Program, with a minor in American Sign Language Studies. They are the recipient of the Corliss Phillabaum Theatre Scholarship and the Randy R. Reddemann Emerging Artists Scholarship.​

Joy is particularly interested in the creation of stories that impact, thought-provoke, and question. She loves to tell stories about queerness, womanhood, and the world we live in. They are a playwright and a director and hope to one day direct and produce original pieces.
